Buparex(Buparvaquone Injection 50 mg/ml)

Composition:-

Each ml contains:

  • Buparvaquone I.P. …….. 50 mg.
  • Excipients …….. q.s.
Indications:-

Buparex is indicated for the treatment and control of bovine theileriosis (Gall Sickness) caused by Theileria annulata. It helps in reducing fever, anaemia, enlarged lymph nodes and other clinical signs associated with the disease, promoting faster recovery and improved productivity in affected animals.

Dosage & Administration:-

For intramuscular administration only.

  • Cattle : 2.5 ml per 50 kg body weight.
  • Buffalo : 2.5 ml per 50 kg body weight.
  • Horse : 2.5 ml per 50 kg body weight.
  • Sheep & Goat : 1 ml per 20 kg body weight.
  • Dog : 0.5 ml per 10 kg body weight.
  • Or as directed by the Veterinarian.
Storage & Withdrawal Period:-
  • Storage : Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light. Do not freeze.
  • Withdrawal Period :
    • Milk : 42 days.
    • Meat : 42 days.
