Colistin sulphate USP……..1.5%w/v.

Indications:-
To control Gram Positive, Gram Negative bacteria and most spp. of Mycoplasma.
Levostin is the most advanced antibiotic combination which controls infections effectively against drug resistant bacteria causing severe infections like CRD,CCRD, Colisepticaemia, Salmonellosis, Infectious Coryza, Fowl Cholera, Necrotic Enteritis,Gangrenous Dermatitis, Non specific & secondary bacterial infections during viral diseases etc.
Levostin is a combination of most advanced antibiotics (Levofloxacin & Colistin),So controls infections caused by bacteria resistant to common drugs (Eg. Enrofloxacin, Ciprofloxacin, Erythromycin,Tylosin,Tiamulin,Lincomycin and b-lactum).
Levostin is much more effective than any other anti-microbial because of its spectrum of activity. Almost all the bacterial pathogens are sensitive to it
There is not much difference in MIC and MBC levels of both Levofloxacin and Colistin . This advantage offers two type of edge to Levostin. First Levostin has less chances of resistance second Levostin is effective in case of severe infections & suppressed immunity when chicken is dependent on antibacterials only

Dosage & Administration:-
For oral administration:
Levostin can be administered once a day.
Dosage is 4-8 ml per 10 liter of water.
For Poultry Regular : 4 to 8 ml per 10 liters of water.
In Pulse Dose : In severe contitions : 1 ml per 5 Kg of live body weight.
In Moderate Condition : 1 ml per 7 Kg of live body weight.
